bibliographic information

In the Printed Materials Room and the Manuscripts Room, a librarian is always available to assist readers with catalogue searches and bibliographic enquiries.

Bibliographic information may be requested remotely, provided the request includes your full name, full address, and email address, via:

  • Email: b-marc@cultura.gov.it
  • Post (responses will be sent exclusively by email). Please address your request to:
Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, Ufficio Informazioni Bibliografiche, S. Marco 7, 30124 Venice

The service—primarily involving the Section for Information on Early and Modern Printed Works, the Manuscripts and Rare Books Department for manuscript materials, the Digital Library and Special Materials Department for cartographic materials, the Theatre and Music Section for musical works, and the Interlibrary Loan Service—provides bibliographic assistance by responding to users’ written enquiries concerning the Library’s holdings and catalogues.

Notes

A reply will be provided by the method most appropriate to the enquiry and within the timeframes set out in the Service Quality Charter.
