Users are also required to comply with the rules for consulting materials in order to ensure their preservation. When reproducing materials, users must hold their device with both hands in order to avoid the risk of dropping it on the item. One hand must not be used to hold the volume in place. Materials must not be moved to other areas of the Library in order to obtain better lighting conditions. Photographs of the premises, staff, other users, or their computer screens are not permitted without prior authorisation. Devices must be set to silent mode so as not to disturb other users.
